No Hard Drives Found After a Hardware Swap

Featured Replies

Hello and good morning!

So last night I decided to upgrade my components from an old PC I had. The hard drives/sas controllers(2) all stayed. New mobo/cpu/ram/gpu/psu.

When I booted up only the cache drive (which is an nvme) is recognized, all the hard drives that pass through the sas controller are not showing up. During boot the controllers that they see hard drives. I cannot get into the configuration though for some reason. After a google search it may be becuase i am using a usb keyborad and not a ps/2 keyboard...idk about that but I will try one tonight.

All of my hard drives show no device on unraid. Any ideas?

Both RAID controllers are failing to initialize and load the driver, also note that RAID controllers are not recommended, they should be flash to LSI IT mode, which uses the mpt3sas driver, also usually much more reliable than the megaraid driver.

Thanks for looking at that Jorge, I will see if i can resolve from the configuration if I can ever get into that and look into flashing the LSI IT if that is possible.
