Installing Python Servers manually vs. Unmenu packages

Hey, I want to install SAB/CP/SB and was wondering, what are the advantages to installing manually ahead of the unmenu packages in user customizations?

The main advantage is that most new users do not understand and/or can't follow the directions you linked to.  It is much easier for them to press a button 3 times per package to get everything installed and setup so it will be persistent across a reboot.

 

I've heard explains from packages involving settings not being saved. Is this apparent on manual as well? Thanks.

Most settings should be saved now.  I accidentally left out a check in the original version of the packages.  Those SAB/SB/CP packages are essentially being beta tested right now so that they can be included in main release unMenu.
