March 5, 20233 yr Hi, I've just upgraded my network to 10G. All of my machines have dual Intel x520 adapters with Intel sfp+ modules. The switch is a 10G unifi unit with unifi sfp+ modules so I'm hoping there is no compatibility issues. I'm using MMF with cables 2M or less. All cards have MTU 9000 set. I have two debian servers and the unraid server. I'm running iperf3 server on one of my debian machines. These are the speeds i'm seeing; debian 01: [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 11.5 GBytes 9.91 Gbits/sec debian 02: [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 9.41 GBytes 8.09 Gbits/sec unraid: [ 5] 0.00-10.00 sec 1.15 GBytes 990 Mbits/sec windows 11: [ 5] 0.00-10.04 sec 6.35 GBytes 5.44 Gbits/sec (not great but better than unraid) I'm new to 10G so i'm still learning. Does anyone have any suggestions to improve the performance of the unraid machine? Thanks!
