July 27, 201114 yr http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Install_Python_based_servers#SABnzbd_and_unMenu Okay, I followed these steps, step for step but somehow I can't complete the following step: "Initially most of the settings in SABnzbd can be left alone but there are some that will need to be changed. Go to Config - Folders and change Post-Processing Scripts Folder to: /mnt/cache/.custom/sickbeard/autoProcessTV and then save the changes." I can't find anything on my cache drive!!. Its EMPTY even though i specified the install. I can only think its been installed to my RAM (?).. which means I don't know how to get rid of it. I'm totally at a loss. I want to uninstall and go for the unmenu packages now I think. Any advice on fixing this situation? (or uninstalling it!) edit: OKAY. Could somene please explain this. On my mac, I connected to tower/cache/.custom ... AND WOW it all popped up perfectly. How? Why? Why can't I see the .custom folder but I can see it if I connect to it?

(period) in front of it is hidden by default.
July 27, 201114 yr wow... i hate mac. LOL, windows does the same thing, it just has a different convention. I install everything on the cache drive and start it with an "_" and then use the mover modify script in the unMenu package manager to tell mover to not move it. NOW: if you are using 5.0b9/10 then you will probably need to set up a user share that is marked as cache drive only. I do not run the newest version of unRAID on my test servers (or my production), so I have not had a chance to test with 5.0b7 or greater.
July 27, 201114 yr Author I'm using 4.7 and damn could have told me that earlier LOL. http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Install_Python_based_servers#SickBeard_Configuration I've been looking at the guide and a lot of what they see... I don't see. Is this normal? Are they using an older version of SB or something? For example, I can't find a 'Config---> episode downloads' or any reference to my sabnzdb account...
July 27, 201114 yr Author Also when I got manual processing to add my shows, I can't see my media share in the browser. I thought this would be easier once I get to the SB page.
July 27, 201114 yr The guide is using a different version that what you probably have installed. Short of trying to figure out where things have moved to yourself the only thing I can recommend is to read up on SABnzb and Sickbeard on there homepages.
July 27, 201114 yr Author Thanks. The problem I'm having now is I browse to the folder were my tv shows are: mnt/media/tvshows but it shows NO tv shows in the mnt/media. however, if i go to mnt/disk1/media/tv shows it shows all of them. solution? I'm using mnt/users/media for now.. since i know mnt/disk1/media will in the future when more drives are added flop.
July 27, 201114 yr Thanks. The problem I'm having now is I browse to the folder were my tv shows are: mnt/media/tvshows I assume there is supposed to be a space in there just like you show below but it shows NO tv shows in the mnt/media. however, if i go to mnt/disk1/media/tv shows it shows all of them. solution? um did you mount a disk at /mnt/media? or what have you done? /mnt/user/media/ would be a User Share and then the tv shows folder would be under that.
July 27, 201114 yr Author yup found it thanks. my last problem (lol hopefully) is: http://cl.ly/1U393N2r0g3Y1B1M0K3T Where can I put in my SABNZBD+ settings? Its found all my TV shows, I've got the config all done...BUT NO where to put my sab details to download!
July 27, 201114 yr Where can I put in my SABNZBD+ settings? What settings are you talking about? There a god awful amount of them and guessing which ones could take quite a while. I assume you are trying to get this up so that SickBeard sends the nzb to SAB so SAB can download and then SickBeard will do the post processing. If that is the case then a google search should bring back a lot of results for setting upn such a thing.
July 27, 201114 yr Author I've searched. I cannot see ANYTHING on my SB or any of the outdated pages I've seen telling me how to get SB to send it to SAB.
July 27, 201114 yr I've searched. I cannot see ANYTHING on my SB or any of the outdated pages I've seen telling me how to get SB to send it to SAB. I believe it is the Config -> Search Settings -> NZB Search section. Set that up to the NZB Method being set to SABnzbd
July 27, 201114 yr Author http://cl.ly/3L3d0H360C3u0N0N3P00 I've tried that. Its not working I think. Don't I need to add the SAB IP/Port like I do on couch potato?
July 27, 201114 yr http://cl.ly/3L3d0H360C3u0N0N3P00 I've tried that. Its not working I think. Don't I need to add the SAB IP/Port like I do on couch potato? That picture is of the nzb providers page. You do have to configure that sections also. which means you need logins for those providers. Some are free some are not. And yes, you will have to add the the sabnzb IP and port location into the Sickbeard configuration under the "SABnzbd URL" area.
July 27, 201114 yr Author I've added my providers (NZB Matrix). Where is this area to add SABnzbd URL? Its not on mine!! Thats what I'm trying to say. I've looked everywhere.
July 27, 201114 yr I don't know what version of SickBeard you are using but on my version is under Config -> Search Settings then NZB Search section. Set that the NZB Method to SABnzbd and fill in the information.
July 27, 201114 yr Author Thanks, you were right. I feel so stupid. Really grateful for your help! I thought Blackhole was a search option for finding nzbs. BTW, couch potato and SB are snatching files but my servers SAB aren't getting them. Now my SAB is showing: downloading 2.0GB... but no files are displayed in the search history or in the "now downloading" but it is telling me 2.0G has been downloading.
July 27, 201114 yr I have only been using SABnzb and SickBeard for a short amount of time. I have CouchPotato installed but not set up as of yet. If they are backlogged episodes you might have to force backlog from SickBeard. Beyond that, I don't quite know.
July 28, 201114 yr The new SABnzbd does not show anything being downloaded if it is stopped and started again. aT least for me, it only shows the download que when it is started the first time after a server reboot. You'll likely still need to setup the post processing; http://code.google.com/p/sickbeard/wiki/PostProcessing Read it sentence by sentence and do/follow what every sentence says. I do suggest pointing SAB to the Sickbeard script location because the script is updated at times. Peter
