[Q] help with gui output settings

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've got unraid running quite well on my QNAP box and have a small question regarding the GUI option. I've got a TVS-473e which comes with 2 HDMI ports using the integrated Radeon R7 graphics chip. I've also got a nVidia 1050ti card installed and running well for my transcoding duties with Emby.

I've gone into the Tools-->System Devices and selected the integrated card and clicked the "Bind Selected To VFIO at boot". I've also changed the boot default to load up the GUI.

The problem I have is that the display stops at:

"vfio-pci 0000:00:01.0: vgaarb: changed VGA decodes: olddecodes=io+mem,decodes=io+mem:owns=io+mem"

Now if I instead select the 1050ti instead and deselect the integrated card, it will boot into the GUI while the HDMI is inserted into the integrated card. It works well, but now I cannot load up emby at all as it errors out due to the card being in use elsewhere.

I've tried deselecting the 1050ti and not do the reboot but it still wont load up.

I have installed the radeontop plugin but still no joy. I have also tried every hdmi port as well (2 on the server and 2 on the 1050ti).

Thanks everyone!
