Hello, this is my first post and I am having a problem with adding users.  I have 3 drives that are fresh clean and parity aligned, I have added a share and applied that.  Now, here is the interesting part. On my Users page all I see is USERNAME root the two password fields, is their suppose to be a tab or something to add users?  I have enabled users in the other tab.  I also tried to use IE but both browsers display the same thing.

This is something that is probably in front of me but for 2 days I have researched this and have found nothing.  Maybe I have a bad flash?? I do know it takes 5 minutes to boot from the flash, and if thats the case how should I go about re-doing it without redoing my drives which took all day?

the username has to be all lowercase.

 

Also, please let us know what version of unRAID you are running and get us the syslog from the machine (instructions via the troubleshooting link in my sig).

Ok, correct me if I am wrong, but there is only a place to change the roots password (which i have) on the users page.  What am I suppose to do here?

 

 

 

 

You are using the Basic version which, I believe, does not support user level security.

Wow, I figured this would have been pointed out in the wiki or docs.  I thought I had a bad copy and reflashed my drive 3 times and tried different drives, downloads.

I have got the PLUS version but i only see my root user like the picture from kilobit. I can't add a new user.

Under settings, have you set Share Security to "User Level"  ?
