Hoping someone can help with this as I'm obviously not the only one experiencing this.

That is a problem reading the flash drive :)

 

Quite often you can fix this by downloading the zip version of the release from the Unraid site and extracting all the bz* type files overwriting the copies on the flash drive.   If that does not work then it is possible the flash drive is starting to fail.   Make sure you have a backup of the ‘config’ folder off the flash dtive as that contains all your setting.
