Is LSI 9207-8i S3 Sleep Compatible?

Recommended Posts

Hey,

so i have LSI 9201-8i right now [PCIe 2.0] it works fine and enters S3 sleep, even better than Intel SATA when go out of sleep the drives connected to it just wake up, the drives connected to Intel and JMB always show these errors before waking up the HDDs.

The issue is that my card had one of the metal thingies that hold the cable broken, and i instead of soldering back threw it out.

So i need a new card and im thinking if im buying one, why not get PCIe Gen 3.0? Its even tad cheaper.
