Unable to access UNRAID after a backup

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Currently running into a weird issue. After making no hardware changes, I can no longer access my Unraid server with the webgui and /localhost on the server itself does not work.

I attempted to reload my USB that I use with a fresh OS, then used "My Servers" to get the backup config. I was able to access the GUI on the fresh install, but not on the restored USB. Does anyone have any ideas?

What does the Unraid Servers Screen itself show?

When I boot my Server I get a lot of Info during the Booting process and then once its done I get the IP Address of the Server and can then navigate to the UI.

What is the Display output of your server during the boot process?

No errors from what I can tell. I have the correct IP and when using a monitor on the server everything seems to be behaving as normal, just the web GUI is not working from other machines.

Nothing obvious, does it work if you try using the IP address: 192.168.50.93

Yes and no. Yes if I do a fresh install of unRAID to a USB. No if I restore a backup of my unRAID to the USB.

You can try to restore just the bare minimum from the backup, like super.dat, pools folder, the key and the docker templates and reconfigure the rest, or try to restore the rest a few files at a time to see if you can find the culprit.

I will give it a try, good idea thank you.
