I ended up just creating a VM and installing the docker that way

 

Thanks for replying. I'm going to spend a little more time on this, but may well go that way too.

I've seen some docs on installing on ubuntu, so that may be the route.

It was pretty easy to install in a vm. Not issues at all. 

yes, got it running this morning. Using cloud flare connector, so a little bit of messing around but got there. Onwards!

I proxied mine through cloudflare DNS for a little obfuscation and that way I could use their WAF.

I'm interested in this.  Why docker inside a vm versus unraid docker? would an ubuntu docker container accomplish the same thing?

I'd prefer a docker setup for unraid, but it's just how I was able to get it setup.
