Issues with shared folders on windows

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm having issues on the first connection to shared folders, SMB or FTP both cause issues.

The first connection takes way too long on both, after one is connected the other connects instantly. After that the connection keeps working as long as it's actively used, no issues on the speed either, then when closed it takes minutes to open again.

SMB gives even more issues when creating folders and editing folders. It freezes up File Explorer for a while (up to even 1 minute or more) before executing the command.

I can't remember when the issue started or if anything changed at that time.

Rest of the system works fine, I can connect to the web GUI and use it without issues, only other thing I noticed is a slow down on the Apps first load and install. Again it's just for the first connection on the files it needs to pull, after being connected it downloads at full speed.

I attached the diagnostics.

Thanks in advance to whoever can help me.

I solved this by recreating the usb stick from scratch.

Copied parts of the config and everything is working fine now.
