March 25, 20233 yr Slow Parity-Sync Time (<500kbps) I have an HP ProLiant DL380 Gen 9 2x16tb Seagate HDDs 1 parity 1 data disk 1 1tb spare disk I was hoping to use unraid on this. However the sync times are very slow, and estimated finish time is 400+ days! Does any one have any ideas on best next steps? I have uploaded my diagnostics for review if anyone can assist! March 25, 20233 yr Community Expert Server load is quite high, reboot, start a parity sync, wait a couple of minutes, grab and post new diags.
March 25, 20233 yr Author unraid-diagnostics-20230325-1512.zip I restarted it, and let it run through the night, and it appears to be moving faster now, although im not sure its optimal.
March 26, 20233 yr Community Expert At the time the diags were saved it was syncing at 240MB/s, so pretty good, it would have accelerated once the slower 1TB disk was done.
