I am using 6.12-rc2 and I have a zpool that I cannot import into the GUI because it has a mixed topology. Is there any way to run a script to import the pool on boot BEFORE the array starts?

    You should be able to use the GO file, add: 

    /usr/sbin/zpool import pool_name

    if it doesn't work also add before that line: 

    modprobe zfs
