[6.10.3] Can't access iGPU, newer versions won't boot

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I just built my first Unraid server a couple weeks ago and I've been having some issues getting everything set up. Initially I tried to run the latest stable version (6.11.5) but it wouldn't boot - it would get to "i915 0000:00:02.0: [drm] VT-d active for gfx access" and just hang indefinitely.

I saw an old Reddit post where someone mentioned some people were having issues with 6.11 and that installing an older version helped for some people and 6.10.3 seems to be the sweet spot in terms of getting things up and running. I now have Unraid running, created an array, installed some dockers etc but the /dev/dri folder doesn't exist, so I'm not able to use my iGPU for transcoding etc as it stands.

Does anyone have any thoughts on what I can try to get Unraid to recognize my iGPU or, ideally, to resolve the boot issues in 6.11.5 so I can update to the latest OS version? Thanks in advance!
