Moving from StableBit DrivePool to Unraid without "losing service"

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have a WinPC with a H310 HBA connected to a NetApp DS4243 with 6 slots free. All the drives are shared through StableBit DrivePool.

Recently I was able to get a Dell R720 and wanted to move everything to Unraid.

I would like to "maintain" the shares while doing the "migration", so if start copying a disk to the new array, and then I delete the copied disk (to be put after in the array), I will see the info in the new share from Unraid.

My idea was to create an initial array with the 6 slots free that I have in DS4243, put the H310 in the R720, create a Win-vm in Unraid, passthrough the disks from DS4243 to the VM but then I can't see the disks in Unraid to create the array. So, how can I achieve that?

I have another H310 with 8087-sata cables. I don't know if that can help.

Thanks!
