Is the key file meant to readable? [SOLVED]

Featured Replies

Noob question I know, but I got my pro key through and I went to read it in windows using notepad and it is meaningless symbols like binary/raw. I assume this is what the key file is meant to be like and not readable? Mine is about 350bytes in size apparently. It's not corrupt is it?

It's not readable. But notepad won't read Unix files correctly anyway. You need notepad++. Just copy the attachment to the config directory on your flash drive and reboot.

Hi there, I booted up unraid for the first time with my prokey in the config directory on USB drive. In top right of the GUI menu it states unraid PRO. I assume all is well? :)

thankyou!
