August 3, 201114 yr Good Afternoon all, I have recently setup an UnRaid server using a Gigabyte motherboard, M68M-S2P with an AM2 processor. DDR2 800 X 2 memory sticks. Yesterday, I logged in as root and executed "ethtool eth0" The NIC speed shows 100 Mb/s which is what I expect and Duplex shows Half which is what I do not expect. After doing some research, I found a way to force Full duplex by executing "ethtool -s eth0 speed 100 duplex full autoneg off" I then entered "ethtool eth0" again the the Duplex showed Full. Now, when I reboot the server, the duplex setting goes back to Half. Can someone help me resolve this or point me in the right direction? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
