ryank66
I am new to unraid so I am hoping this is a simple mistake but I am having an issue that only a few folders are showing up on the share but if I look on the discs themselves I see the files/folders that are missing from the share. Everything is set to public so it's not a permission issue. Plus it looks the same using the gui as the root user. I am unsure why this happened to being with so how do I correct it and how do I prevent this from happening again? Can individual shares/file paths get too long? Would it be better to break everything up into multiple smaller shares instead of one large one? My server is just set up as a NAS. The only thing stored on it is pictures since my Fiancé is a photographer and the random file. I am not running any VMs or dockers. I tried to download krusader to help move everything to the NAS but I found it easier to use Rsync. So I uninstalled Krusader. Additionally, I am having an issue with the cache drive. Under fix common problems, it says that it is unable to write to the cache. It isn't full but it isn't displaying the temperature which makes me think that there might be a connection issue. The cache is a M.2 drive on a PCIE card. Hopefully I posted this in the correct location, if not I apologize. Thanks in advance for the help! kamch-diagnostics-20230408-1240.zip Quote Link to comment
itimpi
It may well be a permissions issue if you did not take care to keep them correct to the Unraid standard when using rsync or Krusader. Try running Tools->New Permissions on the share in question to see if that fixes things. As far as the cache drive is concerned it appears to have dropped offline. You may have to power cycle the system to get it back online. Quote Link to comment
