olivierchristo37
Hello, I want to boot unraid on my old good Mac Mini 2014 (7,1). I tried several options to boot: - the Alt key and select EFI option - I also installed rEFInd and tried the several options. The more advanced result I got is: ---[ end Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0) ]--- Here is the installation details: Software: Unraid version 6.11.5 rEFInd version 0.14.0.2 Hardware: Apple Mac Mini 2014 (7.1) Apple Keyboard (USB) Old HP stick 8Go I read some articles here, some succeeded with their MacPro (some are using rEFInd)... almost noone is talking about Mac Mini 7,1. What should I do? Any idea? Thanks Oli Edited April 11, 2023 by olivierchristo37 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Being able to boot Unraid with Apple hardware has been known to be problematic. so probably not much you can do. Quote Link to comment
