Unraid crashing when copying files over network

Featured Replies

Hello all,

so I've set up a second Unraid server with a BD-Rom drive in it to rip my Bluray drives (among other things). This is working fine, but things go wrong when I try to copy those rips over the network to my desktop, or my main server.

The transfer starts out running fine with decent speeds, but at like 15% in from a 20TB transfer the speed drops to zero very quickly and then the server drops away; the network share is no longer available and Unraid GUI is no longer reachable. After a few minutes it comes back online. I have disabled docker and most plugins so the system is pretty 'clean'. I ripped the movies to the cache drive and then Mover moved them to the array without a problem, which makes me believe it's not a drive issue, but really a network issue. But other than that, I have no clue what's going on, or how to fix it.

Oh, also: Copying files up to like 2GB seems to work fine, and also copying files TO the server, even larger ones, works without hiccups.

Any suggestions would be mucht appreciated. I've added the syslog file as an attachment.

Thanks,

Danny

I ended up swapping the motherboard out for another and now it seems to be working fine.
Still curious what the problem might have been, so if anyone has any ideas, please let me know... :)
