myt30
Good afternoon folks. Just a quick question. I moved yesterday, and when i fired up the server again, the cache drive was not detected. I did not attempt to start the array, I shut it down and tried reseating the cables. Didn't help so I shut it down again, and it ended up being the sata port disabled in bios for some reason. When I started up again, the cache drive appeared in unassigned devices, but with a blue dot, not a green one, and says new disk. I'm assuming that unraid "forgot" the disk, when it was started without it. (again, just booted, not starting the array). I'm just worries that unraid will overwrite the disk if I start the array without a green dot. Is this what happens? or how do I fix this? Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
You can just start, it will import any existing pool. Quote Link to comment
