April 17, 20233 yr Dear Unraid Community, Since few days, I've now an error that say one of my disk is "disabled" Device is Disabled, contents emulated, Click to Spin Down Device. What should I do exactly ? I try to read my disk directly on my laptop, it's working well, so no issue with the disk itself I've found multiple topic taking about the same issue, but nothing relevant to how to fix it. thx for your help nas01-diagnostics-20230417-2018.zip
April 17, 20233 yr Community Expert Solution Disk was already disabled at last boot, so we cannot see what happened, but disk looks healthy and since the emulated disk is mounting, and assuming contents look correct, you can rebuild on top, it might be a good idea to replace/swap cables before doing it to rule that out if it happens again. https://wiki.unraid.net/Manual/Storage_Management#Rebuilding_a_drive_onto_itself
