Server Crashing once a day

Featured Replies

Hello,

ive been having this trouble the last couple days. After a bit of uptime, my server crashes and restarts again. This means a parity check starts and because of that my docker containers (mostly nginx proxy manager) dont work correctly. If i stop the parity check and restart my NPM, it works fine again untill the next crash.

I have an AMD 5600g with 32gb of ram. I ran memtest and after 4 passes it passed the test. I tried disabling C states in the BIOS but that did not help. I couldnt for the life of me find Idle Power Controls on my MSI B550M VDH Wifi Motherboard.

Attached you can find my syslog at around like 6050 is when you can see it restarts. (april 19 14:00)

Can anyone help me? im at my wits end

Unfortunately there's nothing relevant logged, suggesting it's a hardware issue, one thing you can try is to boot the server in safe mode with all docker/VMs disabled, let it run as a basic NAS for a few days, if it still crashes it's likely a hardware problem, if it doesn't start turning on the other services one by one.

Alright thank you for trying to look at it. I will try running it on safemode for the coming days

Were you able to figure out whats going on? My server has been crashing multiple times a day for about a week now. Can't figure out what is going on
