April 22, 20233 yr Hi I cant get my Graphics card to Show on the list when trying to set up my Vms. Bios is set up to integrated Graphics (IGD) , fast boot disabled, and UEFI turned off (Cant boot with it on) i do get display though the card some sort of terminal type screen on HDMI 1 and the main IGD DVI port is working on HDMI 2 so they are not showing the same thing. Virtualisation for Intel is enabled also GPU is not showing up in unraid anywhere either which is odd as it worked on my old setup fine before i changed MB - but again the card is being read in bios so im very confused so it must work for the fact i have some sort of video output and the bios is reading it... so why isnt unraid GPU - AMD Radeon HD 6770 Manufacturer:Intel Corporation Product Name:DQ67SW Version:AAG12527-310 Serial Number:BQSW145000A8 Asset Tag:To be filled by O.E.M. April 23, 20233 yr Seems you have shared your wireguard details, which exposes your server to external attacks. So as a first step, you should rotate your keys so that no one is able to access your server from outside If you need help, you should share diagnostics which is a safe way to share details on your server setup
April 23, 20233 yr Author Solution that was the diagnostics? unless there is so,this specific in there... i also used the anonymous tick so it shouldn't really put wireguard details in there .... thats a bit of a bad design.
April 23, 20233 yr What i saw was not diagnostics. It just had your wireguard config in a zip. Diagnostics will never put that stuff there and all the stuff that is supposed to be in diagnostics zip wasn't there at all. Also the file wasn't named correctly to be a diagnostics file. How did you generate it?
April 23, 20233 yr Author maybe it was me being think i just resetup my laptop ive attached the correct ones and regened my keys ... fml tower-diagnostics-20230423-0007.zip

I can also see it being initialized in syslog When you go to Tools tab, system devices, does it show up under PCI device listing. How are you trying to give it to the VM?
April 23, 20233 yr Author HI Andy doesnt appear to be showing up - but again its being read in the bios fine 8086:0100]00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family DRAM Controller (rev 09) [8086:0101]00:01.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200/2nd Generation Core Processor Family PCI Express Root Port (rev 09) [8086:0122]00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09) [8086:1c3a]00:16.0 Communication controller: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family MEI Controller #1 (rev 04) [8086:1c3c]00:16.2 IDE interface: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family IDE-r Controller (rev 04) [8086:1c3d]00:16.3 Serial controller: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family KT Controller (rev 04) [8086:1502]00:19.0 Ethernet controller: Intel Corporation 82579LM Gigabit Network Connection (Lewisville) (rev 04) [8086:1c2d]00:1a.0 USB controller: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller #2 (rev 04) [8086:1c20]00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller (rev 04) [8086:1c10]00:1c.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family PCI Express Root Port 1 (rev b4) [8086:1c1c]00:1c.6 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family PCI Express Root Port 7 (rev b4) [8086:1c26]00:1d.0 USB controller: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family USB Enhanced Host Controller #1 (rev 04) [8086:244e]00:1e.0 PCI bridge: Intel Corporation 82801 PCI Bridge (rev a4) [8086:1c4e]00:1f.0 ISA bridge: Intel Corporation Q67 Express Chipset LPC Controller (rev 04) [8086:1c02]00:1f.2 SATA controller: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family 6 port Desktop SATA AHCI Controller (rev 04) [8086:1c22]00:1f.3 SMBus: Intel Corporation 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family SMBus Controller (rev 04) [1002:68bf]01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. There are no IOMMU groups in the diags, do you have VT-d enabled in the bios? If you click on sys info in the menu bar does it show IOMMU enabled?
April 23, 20233 yr Author Its showing as disabled in there but its showing as active in the bios. 6 hours ago, apandey said: What i saw was not diagnostics. April 23, 20233 yr Author Where did you find that I'm going to look for an alternative..... all this for lugies mansion lol

April 27, 20233 yr For Intel, you just go to ark.intel.com and type the cpu name in the 'search specifications' box (e.g. 'i7-8700T'). It will show you the capabilities at the bottom of the page of each cpu. You can also add cpu's to the comparison list and compare them, pretty neat.

October 5, 20232 yr Author Hi All sorry for the (very) late response, turned out whilst it was the better CPU it didnt allow passthrough so i had to downgrade.
