Hello,

I have 2 1gbps ethernet onboard:
OMMU group 12:[10ec:8168] 03:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 06)

IOMMU group 13:[10ec:8168] 04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 06)

and 1 usb 2.5gbps:
Bus 004 Device 002 Port 4-3ID 0bda:8156 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. USB 10/100/1G/2.5G LAN

on settings I have only eth0 (2.5gbps)

I would like to dedicate 1 of 1gbps on my Home Assistant VM....

can you explain me to enable the other ports?

thanks!

fix to use NIC 2.5gbps usb

I remove the r8169.conf and install  RTL8152/3/4/6 USB Drivers by ich777

Hi @Ak1rA - I am trying to do this but can't find other posts or related info on how to do it. i have the same issue with the modprobe file i need to keep deleting for eth0 to work.  It's the 8169 problem you mention. I found a dead dropbox link from ich777, can you help point me in the right direction on specifically what you did? Thanks
