Updating multiple apps always fails

Featured Replies

I'm having some issues when updating multiple apps from the Action Center.

For example, I'm running an app called nzbhydra2. If I go to the about section inside the apps I can see the following:

> Container version: v5.1.8-ls94

Then inside Unraid I see that a new update is available for this app along with others. I select all the apps and press to update selected. Here the process always fails when trying to boot up the new container because the container name (nzbhydra2) is already in use. Then I can check for updates but there are no new updates available. Also if I go to the Docker tab and check for updates, it will say I'm "up to date".

But it hasn't actually updated the app, if I check inside nzbhydra2 I'm still on version v5.1.8-ls94. Clicking "More info" on the Docker container takes me to https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-nzbhydra2/pkgs/container/nzbhydra2 which tells me the latest version should be v5.1.8-ls97.

If I update a single app I don't get the startup error, but I haven't verified that the actual version changes inside the app yet (waiting for a new update). I have tried just simply restarting the container as well.

How can I resolve this issue?

I'm running Unraid 6.11.5

Wondering if you even found a fix for this? Whenever I used the action center to update anymore then one docker, I seem to have the same problem. If I update one at a time, it works fine but if I do multiple it says the updates happened but if i click the advanced toggle on the docker tab there will be orphaned images. Then I have to click force update on the individual dockers to get them to straighten out.

Doing it from the docker page instead of action centre worked for me if I recall correctly, haven't used it in a while

Orphaned images is a known issue with Action Centre and multiple updates.  Doesn't actually affect the update however.
