Cache drive/Docker containers missing

Featured Replies

Hello all.  My server was processing files in Unmanic.  All was working fine, I went to bed, got up to check on the server and noticed that the server CPU was no longer showing any load.  I thought Unmanic was done, clicked on docker and I got a docker error.  There were no more docker containers.  I then checked the 'Main' tab of Unraid and noticed my cache drive is missing.  I rebooted the server and same result, no cache drive.  I have attached the diagnostic file.  Thank you in advance.

The cache drive is not showing up, but since you rebooted before taking diagnostics we cannot see what lead up to that.

Your best chance at this point is to power-cycle the server to see if the cache drive becomes visible again.  If not then it has probably failed.

You should disable Docker and VM Manager in Settings until you get cache going again. If you ever started the array without cache and with those services enabled then it will have recreated their files on the array where you don't want them.

After disabling those, check connections, reboot, start the array and post new diagnostics.

I powered cycled the server and the cache drive is back.  Not sure what caused it to stop.  Next time I'll do diagnostics before reboot.  Thanks for the help.
