August 9, 201114 yr I’m currently mulling over putting together an unRAID server with spare parts, and a new AOC-SASLP-MV8 with fanout cables. My current case is adequate for the time being but eventually, I might move to something like a Norco with the backplanes. Just wondering if there would be issues moving from the drives connected via SATA/fanout to SAS/backplane? Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance No issues, save for maybe having to assign drives back to the correct place in the webGUI. If you are running a newer 5.0bX release then you probably won't even have to do that.
