April 29, 20233 yr HELP! I've had my server disconnected for some months whilst I did some house remodelling. The server has not been moved but was shutdown and physically disconnected. It was working perfectly at the point of last shutdown. Now when I come to boot it up again something very strange has happened. The server will boot to the command line, no problem. It will not boot to OS + GUI, or at least the screen goes blank and no GUI is present. At the same time, I am unable to access the server GUI via the LAN. However, I can access the dockers which are running, like Krusader, Emby, Sonarr and Radarr. I can, also, access the server via Terminal on my Mac. Further, I can access and the IPMI pages of the Supermicro shell on a different local IP address. There is some connection going on because if I type in the server address of 192.168.1.14 on my laptop or phone, the page redirects to https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.unraid.net/Main (where xxx are 40 numbers & characters) and I get the error screen: This site can't be reached. This happens only when the server has powered up. I am sure the solution is simple but I am flummoxed, particularly as I can only access the server files via command line and that is not my skillset. Can any kind soul shed light on the problem? D Edited April 29, 20233 yr by adgilcan clarification
April 29, 20233 yr Community Expert I would suugest that you upload the Diagnostics file in a new post in this thread. You can do this from the com and line after logging in. Just type the following command: diagnostics Look at where the file is being stored on the flash drive. You can then shut the server down by typing this command: powerdown Once the server is shutdown, pull the drive and upload the file in a new post. (Do NOT edit your original post to include this file as no one will realize that you have done so.!)
April 29, 20233 yr Solution 8 hours ago, adgilcan said: the page redirects to https://xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.unraid.net/Main You need to migrate from the legacy unriad.net certificate to the new myunraid.net certificate. See https://unraid.net/blog/ssl-certificate-update-2
April 30, 20233 yr Author Many thanks Larry This was, indeed the solution. There were a few issues. One being that I was on OS v6.9.2 and the UNRAID upgrade page said I should be able to access the server GUI which, of course, I could not. However, I was able to access the Flash directory via MAC's Finder and rename the .pem files, which gave me access. Secondly, there is no "Upgrade Cert" button in OS v6.11.5 which I was upgraded to. but I was able to do the same thing using the blue 'help screens' on the Settings page. All is now working perfectly. Thanks for your prompt help. I was pulling my hair out yesterday! D
