Stuck at 100Mbps

Featured Replies

I am running a TUF Gaming X570-Pro WIFI motherboard from Asus. I can't get the NIC to run full speed. I have made a new cable and tested it on another computer and it runs fine so I don't think it's the cable. I'm not really sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure what would help from diagnostics so attached the network info I found.

We normally want the whole zip file generated by diagnostics.

Thank you. I edited it.

The attached zip file has a single disk SMART output, not diagnostics

3rd times a charm I hope. I don't know how I messed it up twice. Should be the right file now.

What is on the other side of the cable? NIC is identified as 2.5gbps, but negotiated at 100mbps

It's a GT-AX11000 router to a patch panel to the wall switch to the server. Everything has been rebooted. But if the negotiation is correct I'll have to start checking router settings, though I'm not sure why it would work with my PC but not server. Soon as I'm off work tonight I'll start checking from the router out and see what I find. Thank you.

Is the other end same on the PC, same port on patch panel / router? Maybe try another port  direct to router to see if thag changes anything
