VM selection in bootmenu?

Featured Replies

Hi,

Is it possible to put extra options in the bootmenu, as to have a choice of which VM(s) autostart.
So I can choose to either start my gaming VM using all available resources or starting it with less resources and also starting a second different VM.

Thanks

AFAIK it's not possible.

You might be able to hack something, you can add something to the kernel command line in the menu entries and retrieve it in /proc/cmdline.

Instead of using unraid's VM autostart you write your own user script set to run at start of array that tests it and starts VMs accordingly.

That sound very interesting, unfortunately way above my level of abilities concerning this.
