Plugin install failed - error: Installation already in progress

Featured Replies

I tried to install an additional plugin (Intel-GPU-Top), but I get always the error:

Installation already in progress

Another plugin installation or update is already in progress, and this one cannot start. Wait until the current installation or update is completed and try again

What is the best way for troubleshooting? As far as I know there is no update running. I do not want to reboot the server. Last time (3 days ago) I got that error, a reboot fixed it. But there must be a better solution

Must restart the server for different reason. Now I am able to install the plugin. Strange

Current Rev of CA fixes it (caused if a plg was unable to be downloaded for some reason), but in order to clear out what stuck in there, you do have to reboot

I ran into the same problem. I cannot install any new plugins, I always get this message:

I am running Unraid 6.12.2, CA is version 2023.07.03. Reboot did not fix the problem for me. Any suggestions?

me too, unraid 6.11.5. CA is version 2023.07.03

reboot & reinstall CA did not fix.

do not know how to check the installation in progress ,and how to kill it.

reboot will fix it.

Alternatively,

rm /tmp/plugins/pluginPending/*

This should never be an issue though on 6.12
