August 10, 201114 yr While adding a fairly used drive to my array I noticed that in the smart report it shows: 199 UDMA_CRC_Error_Count 0x0032 200 200 000 Old_age Always - 175 I have been using this drive for a good while, 2+ years, on a Windows machine without any issues. Should I be worried by this value? It did pass the preclear script without incident. I will paste the full smart report: If I had noticed this before adding it to the array I would have done another round or two of pre-clear script, but alas I didn't notice it until Unmenu flagged it after i added it to the array. August 10, 201114 yr The normalized value is 200. The failure threshold is 000. many Raw values have meaning ONLY to the manufacturer, with a few exceptions temperature, re-allocated sectors, sectors pending re-allocation, power on hours). You disk is fine.
