Shares are just top level folders, if using zfs make sure you create them using the GUI, so that a new dataset is created, to move the data use you favorite tool, like Dynamix File Manager or Midnight Commander for example.

Thanks for the response, I started to move data over to the zfs pool now, what i did do was to rename the shares with a "1" suffix after the share name, then created a new share with the original share name pointing it to the zfs pool, then used Dynamix File Manager to copy the data over to the newly created share, once i know everything is good, then i will delete the renamed share from the array.  everything seems good so far
