sasbro97
Hey there. I am new to Unraid and starting a complete new system. I want to start with the new native ZFS at least for my HDDs. But for my cache I'm using two 1 TB SSDs and I'm curious which file system to use because I want to store things like docker-data permanently on the cache pool and snapshots might come in handy. But I know btrfs also supports snapshots. So I'm thinking about zfs and a mirror of these both 1 TB SSDs as I don't want to lose any data. I just don't want to start now and save some data to format it in a month again... Edited May 2, 2023 by sasbro97 Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Between the two ZFS will be a better choice for most users. 1 Quote Link to comment
