Started format on formatted drive, shows red

After adding a drive, all drives appeared as unformatted, supidly hit format, started to format drive 8 instead of 12.  Rebooted.  All drives appear, including drive 8, but drive 8 appears red, start appears orange.  Do I need to re-do parity?  If so, how do I do this, running 4.5.3, there is no button to force it to do that.  HELP!  Also, drive 5 suddenly shows no files, although it is full. :'(
