May 4, 20233 yr Hi, I am having an issue, I used to have dual parity, but I decided to go to only one. So I did a new config as normal to remove the extra parity drive and put that drive into the pool of drives. Now the dives never spin down. I have to manually spin them down to take affect. Also, I am getting a message for a random MCE error that I do not understand. Can someone help me out, much thanks in advance. pheonix-diagnostics-20230504-1712.zip
May 5, 20233 yr I only see this mce error in logs mcelog: Kernel does not support page offline interface If this is all you have seen and there is no obvious adverse effect, it may be harmless. If a BIOS update is available, it might help There have been issues reported for 6.12 RC on breaking spindown on doing new config.
