Unraid doesn't recognize the XFS partitions

Featured Replies

Dear Sirs,

I'm considering Unraid, because I've had too many stability issues with TrueNAS Scale.

I'm surprised that there isn't any way to format the disks from inside Unraid and Unraid doesn't recognize the XFS partitions made on three different disks from the CLI.

I also tried to restart Unraid after setting up the disks, but it still doesn't recognize them.

Is there something special I need to be aware of in regards to disks in Unraid?

Best regards,

Frederik

Assign the disk(s) to the array or pool, start array, format button is on the bottom, next to array stop button.

That won't work, disks need to be formatted by Unraid.

Ok, I'm going to look into how your filesystem works.
