Posted August 12, 201113 yr I was adding new disks and all was going well, then my flash got wiped. Not sure how it happened. I checked it out in my desktop machine and sure enough, unformatted. I reformatted it and copied my last backup over, which was prior to the drives I had installed. Now it's confused as there is a different drive for Parity and Drive3. This stack was working fine so parity is up to date and the new drive 3 is fully recovered. How do i tell Unraid that all is fine and just take the current drives as the right setup? Thanks! =MikeT
August 12, 201113 yr initconfig in command line will tell unRAID to redo its configuration with what you have. Keep in mind "you will loose parity" and it will have to rebuild parity.
August 12, 201113 yr Author Found the page on "Make unRAID Trust the Parity Drive, Avoid Rebuilding Parity Unnecessarily" and followed the instructions there. That seemed to do it. http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php?title=Make_unRAID_Trust_the_Parity_Drive,_Avoid_Rebuilding_Parity_Unnecessarily Thanks =MikeT
