May 17, 20233 yr I had a failure that caused me to rebuild my array on new disks. I noticed that I have two user folders, /mnt/user and /mnt/user0. It's more confusing to me that neither is really identical to /mnt/disk1 (the only data drive). Can someone help me understand better what /mnt/user is meant to represent? May 17, 20233 yr Solution 3 minutes ago, lurkio said: /mnt/user and /mnt/user0 /mnt/user is the view of the data via user shares (/mnt/user/photos, /mnt/users/movies, etc. depending on what user shares you may have defined) User shares can span disks if you have set them up that way. /mnt/user0 is the view of the user shares minus whatever may exist on cache pools. /mnt/diskX are disk shares and one exists for each physical disk.
