Supermicro X11SPi-TF onboard NICs not working

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have some troubles with the two onboard 10 GB Intel NICs x722/x557 on the above board. They are not recognized at all. Anybody any idea? I think in general they should be supported?

My system:

Unraid 6.11.5 Pro

Xeon Silver 4210

128 GB ECC RAM

8x 18 TB Toshiba

5x SSD (Cache)

NIC X540-AT2 due to not working onboard

Latest BIOS for the Mainboard 2.7

Thanks for any suggestions

Alex

You should post your system's diagnostics zip file so that we can see what is going on.

NICs are not being detected by Linux, this is not a software issue, can you confirm they are enabled in the BIOS?

They are both enabled with legacy support. I even exchanged the Mainboard to make sure there is no hardware issue but the other one showed same effect. It is like they are not there. Even worse, Windows recognized them. Maybe anybody else here with similar board?

They are not appearing on lspci, don't know how it can work with Windows, boot Ubuntu live flash drive and see if they are detected there, if yes post lspci output.
