doubt lsi sas/sata and max hard disk capacity

I need to expand my unraid. I would like to buy a sas/sata lsi controller but I can't figure out what max capacity in tb I can get. I currently have 3 16tb hd's connected to the motherboard controller. If I buy another 16 TB to connect, for example, to an LSI 9208-8i, do you see them or have any limitations? Thank you
