Smackover
After running stable for years, I had an unclean shutdown on May 23th, and another this morning. Plug-ins and dockers are auto updated, but otherwise there have been no changes. Attached are my diagnostics—I’d appreciate if someone could take a look. trurl
Standard syslog (included in diagnostics) is in RAM, so doesn't survive reboot. Diagnostics can't tell us anything that happened before reboot. Do you have an UPS? Setup syslog server. Quote Link to comment
Smackover
Thanks—I’ll look at setting up syslog tonight. I do have a UPS, and it is setup with a plug-in to cleanly shutdown the server. One other oddity—I have my camera NVR running on this server, so I can see when the server shutdown based on the recording cutting out. Both instances were at 6:39:xx AM Central US time. Weird. Smackover
I’m running Milestone in a Windows 10 VM. All cameras are on a separate VLAN with no internet connectivity. No ports are forwarded, I’m using HomeKit Secure Video to access the feeds remotely. Quote Link to comment
