May 31, 20233 yr Unraid Version: 6.11.5 Plugins Loaded (all up-to-date): Community Applications, Dynamix Active Streams, Fix Common Problems, Open Files, Recycle Bin, Unassigned Devices Hardware: i7-5820K, Asus X99-A Mobo, 16gb Memory, 2x 4TB HDD (Disk Share), 1x 1TB HDD (Unassigned Device) This Unraid server is used as the main working file storage server for a small engineering firm. All users access the 4TB disk share (disk1) via "mapped network drives" in Windows and work directly from files saved there. The unassigned device (dev1) is an old server drive that is only accessed occasionally to reference old files. For as long as I can remember (We've been using this Unraid server at our office for close to 2 years) I have had issues with Windows programs incorrectly reporting that files located on the server are opened or locked by other users. Resource Monitor confirms that no programs on my windows machine are accessing these files, and I've used the Open Files plugin to confirm that no other users are accessing those files. Some examples of this: Attempt to open a PDF with Bluebeam Revu and get the message "[file name].pdf is locked by another user." with the option to open a read-only copy of the file. The same file will open without issue with Adobe Acrobat. Open Files plugin does not show that any user is accessing the file. Attempting to "Save As" a new project file with AutoDesk Revit (a CAD program) will give the error "File not saved". If I immediately try to save the file again, when the "Save As" dialog opens back up it shows a copy of the file that I just tried to save which disappears after a few seconds. That file shows up in the Recycle Bin folder after it disappears. This behavior is consistent across multiple versions and updates of Revit. Things I've tried to fix this: Updating Unraid and all plugins Disabling the Recycle Bin plugin Saving/Opening files by navigating through "Network" in Windows Explorer instead of through the mapped network drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
