June 13, 20233 yr Hello, i was wondering if i could replace a failed drive with one already in the array? This is my first failed drive and kinda worried messing up the process.

You cannot, also don't see why you'd want to, you can replace it with a new drive or move all data from that disk to another disk(s) and shrink the array.
