Hi guys, quick question. I am thinking about swapping the MB in my server since my M3A78 pro has 6 sata ports vs the 4 that are on the board that is currently in it. I know this board has a realtek lan chip set on it but I cannot find out if it is the problem 8111E or not. Does anyone know?

    Looking at the driver downloads.

     

    there are both athros and Realtek RTL8111B/C drivers for this board.

    I think it is safe to assume it is to old for an 8111E NIC.

    Think I swap the asus board that is in my server with this one from my desktop. The one in my server has 5 sata, but only three are usable, the last two are only for raid. Figure this will buy me some time till I need to buy a add in sata board.
