Data Rebuild but it still says array stopped?

Featured Replies

Got an interesting case here. I've been methodically replacing my 3TB drives with 6TB drives, and letting it rebuild so I'm familiar with that but this time something must have gone wrong because when I changed the missing disk to the new HDD and hit start the system is acting like its re-building the disk as normal but the gui thinks the array isn't online..... Not sure what to do here.

Have you been using firefox? If so close window and try another browser.

I do use firefox, but I actually already tried what you are saying. Shows the same thing in Edge, and Chrome.

My gut is telling me to let the Data-Rebuild that is progressing in the bottom notification bar run to completion then reassess the situation.

Yeah will probably be that way until you reboot the server. Avoid firefox on the array page, it often screws up with the "form". You might have seen a popup to resubmit data at some point, that's bad.

Firefox works fine as long as you NEVER EVER EVER resubmit. Always cancel.

It will stay screwed up until you restart Unraid.

Gotcha, but the Data rebuild that shows as progressing is correct, right? As in its actually doing it? I plan on letting it get to 100% then rebooting.

That should be fine.
