June 17, 20233 yr I've been looking for a working backup function or app or a docker that saves my folders on an external server for several days now, but this is outside of my network. I have already tried several backup systems that work, but not all of them have already tried a few there, many backup systems that I have already used only work in the local network and Didi I find that they can also set up a backup externally, always want one directly paid subscription. ( rclone ) this docker container can be started for me but does not work because the web interface is not accessible ( cloudberry ) this docker-container only works partially it doesn't upload things correctly to my backup storage and uploading this correctly is too far with this one subscription ötingen it just stops uploading at 130 GB ( luckyBackup ) I tried this docker-container, but I noticed there that I cannot select the destination externally without further ado, which means I only make a backup on the device or in the local network but not, as I said, a backup that is outside my network I'm just looking for a working docker container that saves my folder structure to a Hetzner storage box and the docker shouldn't be linked to any subscriptions, it should just work and not be complicated to set up with 1000 settings that you don't need these protocols are supported for data transmission: FTP / FTPS / SFTP / SCP / Samba/CIFS / BorgBackup / Restic / Rclone / rsync via SSH / HTTPS / WebDAV
March 21, 20251 yr I'm interested. +1 for Hetzner storage box (or any FTPS / SFTP / SCP / Samba/CIFS / BorgBackup / Restic / Rclone / rsync via SSH / HTTPS / WebDAV storage)
