I recently moved. Stored my hard drives in a pelican case specifially made for hard drives. When I got to my destination and reinstalled the drives I have two that aren't being picked up by the system.

I remember doing a 3.3v kapton tape mod for the 8tb hard drive that isn't being recognized (So that might be my issue with that drive). I have yet to test if this is my issue (waiting on new tape).

I have confirmed that the cables are not the issue:

  • Boot with a single drive attached, Unraid sees it.
  • Reboot using the same cables to both unrecognized hard drive and they don't show.

Thanks in advance!

Can you see the disks in BIOS?

The kapton tape fixed one of my drives.

My other drive is showing up in BIOS and is now seen in Unraid but it showing in Unassigned Devices.
