April 27, 201214 yr So I have sab and sickbeard running perfectly atm. However it seems Couchpotato is " unable to connect to SAB ". I've had couchpotato working about a week ago and reinstalled but this time it's not working. The movies are grabbed but they don't get sent to SABnzbd. April 27, 201214 yr Author i can't see anything wrong in the log, beside of the "unable to connect to sab". the port for sab is correct? 8082? doublecheck the api-key. to reinstall couchpotato and start from scratch, stop the app, delete the data-dir and restart the server.
April 27, 201214 yr thanks mate I'll try reinstall couch from scratch and see if that solves the issue. *edit* mmm so it seems a complete reinstall of couchpotato and server restart did the trick. I am a very, very happy person at the moment!!!!!! Thanks for your help Benni you made my day I think I finally have my first unraid server finished and ready to hide away for full time 24/7 use XD
April 30, 201214 yr I have never used the anime version and haven't looked at the autoprocess scripts to know if they do something different than the regular processtv scripts, but basically it gives sab a way to notify sickbeard when an episode is done downloading and sickbeard processes the episode immediately. The only difference between the Regular Sickbeard and the Anime release is that the Anime one has an extra flag for shows to flag them as Anime. You only need to have the anime release installed and it will happily download both Anime and Regular TV shows and process them with the same post-processing script. And if I remember right I only had to change the download from midget-spy's master branch to lad1337's anime branch (https://github.com/lad1337/Sick-Beard) Then I just configured two datastores for Sickbeard, one goes to a Share for TV shows and the other for Anime, as I add shows I just have to pick the right store and then mark the checkbox for if it is Anime or not.
May 1, 201214 yr Just been spending some time trying to get this up and running with my old sickbeard install. Found that the old version had a log path of /var/log/sickbeard. This stopped sickbeard running via the new plugin. Changed old ini file to put log dir back as just Log works fine now but I cannot put the log path back to /var/log/sickbeard. Old sickbeard was being instaled via uumenu package and had the log dir set there I suspect that the path/file was being created with a different user and permissions given on install. Any help would be great. I can then move onto sab

May 1, 201214 yr I am having difficulties getting this installed. If the answer is in this thread I have certainly missed it. May 1, 201214 yr clearzero: that means your typing something in wrong. When it says fail to load, it means the file doesn't exist. Check and make sure its in the path. From telnet you can do: ls /boot/config/plugins/ Wajeeh2009: I just tested it, the link is valid, just downloaded again on my server to make sure. Try to ping google to make sure your server has access to the internet. ping google.com once it works, CTRL+C to stop(sorry if you know this, not trying to insult intelligence here) Mejutty: To check the permissions, do: ls -l /var/log/ Post the results. I don't know how unmenu installs sickbeard, or what user it runs as.

May 1, 201214 yr Sickbeard can't write to /var/log/sickbeard because it doesn't have permission to create the folder or write to the /var/ directory. Create the folder yourself and chown it. mkdir /var/log/sickbeard chown nobody:users /var/log/sickbeard
May 1, 201214 yr Don't want to do that everytime i reboot, uumenu had a place in the install where you set where you wanted the log to be, obvioulsy it then created and changed the permissions on install, if people want to set the logs to var/logs maybe the plugin needs that as a config option??
May 1, 201214 yr after changing it to /var/log/sickbeard have you done a reboot? I have mine set for the same location and I do not have to create the folder. I did when I first set it, but haven't had to since.
May 1, 201214 yr I thought the var/log directory was dynamic and created/destroyed everytime the system is rebooted?? If this wasn't the case the file/folder would still be there from my last install that was already running like my sab install is currenlty as I have not moved it to the plugin yet.
May 1, 201214 yr It does get destroyed when the system reboots. My point is when I first set it, after the server had been running, I had to manually create the folder to get it to work, after that, when I reboot, sickbeard creates the folder itself.

May 2, 201214 yr Magic? Really I'm not sure, but I haven't had to create the folder again since I first moved the logs over. I haven't done anything else, double checked my go script to make sure I hadn't added a line to create the folder on boot.

Also if anyone wants to use anime_xen branch (may have more bugs but may have a better chance of finding series with differently named seasons) change the line that says: "http://github.com/lad1337/Sick-Beard/tarball/anime" to "http://github.com/lad1337/Sick-Beard/tarball/anime_xem"
